About GradeConverter

GradeConverter is a free utility platform designed for students who need to translate a CGPA, percentage, or GPA from their university's internal grading system into the scale another country or institution expects — whether that's the German Bavarian formula for study-abroad applications, the US 4.0 scale, or a straightforward percentage equivalent for a job application form.

Why University-Specific Pages?

Every university publishes its own conversion formula, and using the wrong one can under- or over-state your true academic standing. Instead of forcing students into a single generic calculator that might give faulty outputs, we maintain a dedicated directory page per university, each hardcoded around that specific institution's official published formula.

How Formulas Are Sourced

Our database formulas are carefully compiled from official university examination circulars, public grading regulations, and consolidated student grade sheets. Where a university revises its formula framework, we aim to update the corresponding page layout. If you spot an outdated or incorrect calculation step, please let us know via the options on our contact page.

What This Site Is Not

GradeConverter is entirely independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official operating channel of any college or university named on this site. The results it produces are standalone reference estimations, not official transcripts or certificates.
